The FCC announced in July that they would be beginning real-world SAS testing called "Initial Commercial Deployment' (ICD). The first round of ICD applications closed September 10, 2018 - but another round of ICD applications is opening up soon. Those SAS applicants are required to run the ICD for at least 30 days prior to submitting their final testing reports.
